Yesterday's hits, available today

These games have been in our family for generations; now they’re ready for you. Experience the Blizzard Arcade Collection, presenting classic Blizzard Entertainment games reproduced for modern audiences and platforms.

Try two faithful recreations of each game as they were originally published on 16- and 32-bit consoles, or play the Definitive Edition with new upgrades and achievements.

Product Features

Triple trouble

The Lost Vikings®

Is it my imagination, or have we been here before? Three vigorous Vikings—Erik, Baleog, and Olaf—each with distinct talents (speed, strength, and, um, shield) have found themselves imprisoned in the menagerie of the alien tyrant Tomator. Will you help them overcome asymmetrical platforming and challenging puzzles to find their way home, or watch disappointedly as they die over and over again? How about both? Test your skills with two original versions of the game, or play the Definitive Edition, including 5 distinct levels from the 1994 release.

Rock N Roll Racing®

Let the carnage begin! It’s time to rock out in the raddest vehicular destruction derby this side of 1994. Shred your way across hundreds of galactic tracks, and tune up your ride with all the mines, missiles, and jump jets you need to crush the competition and get space rich. RNRR is back with 16x9 resolution support, original rock and metal soundtrack hits like Bad to the Bone and Born to be Wild (now with artist recordings and the MIDI versions you remember), and 4-player local multiplayer in the Definitive Edition. We’re also including the two original console versions in the Blizzard Arcade Collection.

Blackthorne®

Your skull will make a fine trophy! As mercenary captain Kyle "Blackthorne" Vlaros, traverse an alien planet, liberate the Androthi people, and claim your destiny. Your destiny, in this case, is cover-diving and blind-firing your shotgun in frenetic 2D shootouts. Blackthorne blends action, platforming, and worldbuilding into a grim space fantasy that presaged Warcraft and StarCraft. Play either of the two original console versions, or the Definitive Edition.

Lost Vikings 2

Once again, we find our three heroes Erik, Baleog, and Olaf taken far from their home and thrust into a new adventure. Tapping into new abilities and joined by two new allies, the werewolf Fang and the dragon Scorch, on their quest to find their way back home, our Viking heroes must overcome challenging puzzles that put a fresh spin on the original game’s design. Relive saving our three heroes in the original 16-bit version!

RPM Racing

Experience the prequel to Rock N Roll Racing with RPM Racing! The classic features are all there: isometric perspective, different cars to choose from, the ability to make modular upgrades to your vehicle, career progress save functionality, and plenty of vehicular mayhem. We have also included additional “Video Mode” options so you can select the display mode that best suits your taste! Test your skills on the racetracks in the original 16-bit version.

More!

The Original Editions included in the Blizzard Arcade Collection have plenty of convenient features we’d have included in the first place if we knew about them 25 years ago: key mapping, graphical scaling, screen filters, and more.
